Net Neutrality

First off let me explain what net neutrality is. Net neutrality is the principle that Internet service providers should enable access to all content and applications regardless of the source, and without favoring or blocking particular products or websites. Maybe all of you use main stream news sites and video sites for your information on the web. But not everyone does. Some users look at websites that are not backed by a large corporation and a lot of money. For those people net neutrality will allow them to keep viewing those sites. if not big businesses will be able to slow down these small sites and speed up their sites by paying more money. Well, that is the understanding i have gained from my small research into net neutrality I highly recommend you do some further research into the matter. But for me net neutrality is a good thing. here is a comment from an article that may help you understand net neutrality even further " net neutrality assures equal access for users and service providers alike by imposing rules on the pipe owners - such as Comcast, Cox, AT&T and Verizon - that essentially preclude them from being arbitrary and discriminating in throttling back the bit rates of the services flowing through their pipes." (Net neutrality)
